Fantastic mom/pop for casual Mexican food. The Cali burrito and Chicken Flautas are my favorite, but the Breakfast Burrito is a must-have. Honestly the best cure for a hangover or craving.
Amazing service! Placed large order over the phone and I swear it was ready within 5-7 minutes. Girls at the register were very friendly and so helpful. This was the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Their positive energy was contagious.
Crispy shredded beef Taco everyone is talking about! So I ordered 1 $5 . This is the best crispy shredded beef taco in southern California. I ordered heavous rancheros for $13 . When the order showed up I was likE. THATS "WIMPY" . no rancheros sauce! It was pico de Gallo over eggs. Only 2 small eggs. The corn tortillas were delicious .red sauce bomb! I like this place because of the strip mall it's in. The liquor store next door and the laundry mat. I want to come back in the summer time and CHILL on the patio for hours with the locals! It seems like that kind of place.
I absolutely love Hanks. Been a loyal customer since the 90’s when I accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior and was introduced to Hanks as a Christian owned business by a Brother never looked back. Even when I moved to South county I still came once a week. Now that I’ve been back in the CM for 8 years it’s several times a week. This closing at 5pm is hard on me. I get off work no earlier then 5pm and will have a crispy burrito hole in my hart all week till Saturdays. Hope all is well we are praying for you all as I feel in my heart something is just not right. Pride the Lord.
I came here for a breakfast burrito and they were pretty good. I don't like to order chorizo burritos bc I like my chorizo made a certain way. But this was pretty good. I always like places who use hash brown potatoes, and that is what this place uses, so that is a huge plus for me. The burrito was bigger than most places and the refried beans were very good. My wife ordered an egg, potato and cheese burrito and she loved it. Plenty of ingredients. If you're looking for a great breakfast burrito, this is the place.
Love the cozy and traditional-like restaurant. Very limited (3 tables) indoor seating with few outdoor seating as well. The food is delicious and affordable. The service is quick so there is no wait. I like the friendly cashier staff taking orders. The only thing I did not like is the fact that they charge $0.75 flat fee for credit card regardless of how much you order.
